They are playing better RIGHT NOW than just about anyone not named Alabama. You can judge them based off a couple of months ago but the truth is that they are one of the hotter teams right now. They are playing good ball and they of course have a lot of talent.

Bama, but USC has been playing like a top 10 team the last 2 months. Sam Darnold has been fantastic since he took over at QB. USC is up to 11th in F/+ on Football Outsiders despite their 1-3 start. That means they've basically been top 5 quality during this 6 game winning streak.
