Although Coach Howard was quite an entertaining fellow, he was the George Wallace of football coaches. Clemson can call it "Danny Ford" rock, but he may have been a racist too.

The thing never mentioned is we ALL sin, mess up, screw up & come short. Why do we think people raised in a racist generation would be any different. We need to learn from the mistakes not honor their sins in any way but it’s ok to forgive recognize the great things they do too otherwise, Jesus is the only man worth recognition and he forgives us of all our sins as we are to do unto others.

We can hold onto the sin or we can be free an embrace forgiveness.

I wish it was possible for one of these righteous baptist deacons to interview Herman McGee and ask him how racist Coach Howard was while he was working with the coach for many,many years! They wouldn’t like the answer.
