They have never drafted a CU player; had a few,

maybe 5 or 6 on the roster in their 21
seasons, the most notable of course being
Brentson Buckner (2001-2005) who played in
the Super Bowl. All In.

I'm usually the first one to poke holes into sports conspiracy theories but unfortunately there is a long history with the Panthers passing on Clemson players. In fact I'm pretty sure they've never drafted a Clemson player. Most recently the shaq Thompson (Ucla lb / fullback) pick before Stephone Anthony. I realize I'm a homer and everyone in clt is excited about shaq Thompson but I'm willing to bet they'll kick themselves for that. Also, drafted soluitilu (sp? Way off but a OL they cut) ahead of Dwayne Allen. Imagine Olson and Allen in that offense.

Have signed a few to free agent deals

The Stephone Anthony snub infuriated me

They also passed on Dodd this year...

I have never bought a ticket and won't till they do!

What would make Clemson fans more angry: Drafting the guys and not playing them/eventually cutting them in a few years, or not drafting them at all?

I have no problem with the Panthers passing on them, I'd much rather see our guys go to a team that really wants them.

But although Shaq isnt playing that much now the LB situation w the Panthers, learning from Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly and really getting a couple years to learn and grow a role steadily, will probably work out well for him. I think Stephone couldve crushed it here playing next to LK for the next ten years.
