WV defeated East Carolina, Kansas Jayhawks, and Del State. Both Kansas Jayhawks and East Carolina are 1 and 3.
I really think Clemson is going to embarrass them even worse than the cute bird that we just defaced. Clemson second string is going to start the third quarter.

CFB doesn't really translate game to game...but I think we beat them by at least 10. 20 tops

I agree. The transitive property in college football isn't a good indicator. IMO, when you're talking about young adults (I call them kids) playing a pretty emotional game, stuff can go sideways in a game pretty quickly.
Having said the above, my prediction is a 38-24 Clemson win. I don't think we'll do well containing Bryant on the ground and I think Clemson's Dline will be too much for our offense to have any consistency. Not to mention, we've struggled with some slow starts on offense and I'm afraid if that happens in this game, we won't be able to recover. I hope I'm wrong but that's my gut feeling about the outcome.

Slow starts are a bit of a concern, but I think at least part of that is the vanilla-ish offense that Fuente has been dialing up. The last 3 games have been snoozers, and game 1 vs WVU was the first game of Josh Jackson's career...
I think if VT has a chance, they make Kelly put the ball in the air... and put some hits on him. It's prob no secret that Foster is going to try and stop the run game including Kelly and rely on his DBs to do their jobs in coverage... no easy task.

I am not confident that we will "embarrass" them, but having Mark Fields and Trayvon Mullen back makes me more confident that we will win without too much struggle. If Kelly Bryant shakes off last weeks performance and performs as he did against Louisville along with our deep stable of WRs and RBs we should be able to hold VT off since they rely heavily on Cam Phillips which is a top notch WR.

VT has excellent coaches, so we can expect their best, and they will be ready for us on their turf. That said - a lot will depend on how quickly their QB gets rid of the ball. If he tries to do too much, then he will be even less effective than Jackson was, and CLEMSON will stomp a hole in VT. CLEMSON will win by 10-35 points, depending on their QB.
I am most anxious to see how Foster's D stops the RUN, and whether or not KB2 can exploit their secondary if Foster is successful. If KB2 and any of our QB's fail to PASS effectively, then it will be a very long night. We will have to wear them down and pull out the "W" in the final minutes.

If you don't think VT will give us a handful, step away from the orange koolaid. Better be worrying about our secondary right now. We walk out of Lane with a 1 point win, be thankful. VT is a talented well coached team. We're a very good team too. But we are far from world beaters.
