I know a lot of folks don't like him and I've never really stated an opinion, but Jesus, Clemson should save money and not even travel to freaking Tallahassee, FL. We have no freaking chance to win per the genius that is Walt Deptula. If WCCP wants to say they are CLEMSON'S "flagship" station, don't have someone that gives us no freaking shot to win in a matchup that we've had a pretty good winning % in the past 10 years. Ridiculous...and that pisses me off.
BTW, I'm still listening because I hope we beat the crap out of the Seminoles so I can ask him to resign because he is an idiot.

it's absurd to have that on WCCP. I'll just take it WCCP really ISN'T our "flagship" station. And no, I don't want everyone on the channel saying we'll win, etc. SO maybe you're right and this is just bothering me. I'll just brush it off for what it is and let my TIGERS do the talking Saturday night!
And to be honest, I know many don't like him and as I've said I normally don't say anything, but I've actually like him. I just think him harping that CLEMSON has NO freaking shot to win Saturday is a bit much for "our" station. But, just my opinion.

AT HOME
we've won one time in the last 20 years @FSU
we have to play a near perfect game to beat them in that enviornment.........hopefully we take the stuff we took before the VT game last year
if our Dline can find some way to pressure manual consistently we have a chance

is not good to listen to..........don't know if you litened a couple yrs ago but when don munson was on WCCP Clemson was going 11-1 and USC was going 4-8 .........listening to homers aint much better.

We've won 6 of the last 10. It would be 7 if not for a BS pass interference and a 55 yard FG.
I'd say that's a pretty good winning percentage.

He has been positive of Clemson at times, its just his opinion. Some here get so defensive that his opinion might differ from their own on Clemson athletics. So what he thinks Clemson won't win on Sat. He also stated he thought Clemson had the nations 3rd best offense. Its just his opinion.
Some want to act like he is an employee of C.U. He works for WCCP which is the flagship station of Clemson athletics but is not owned by Clemson. WCCP has many hosts who are very pro Clemson, Walt gives a different prospective.
Take it for what it is, if you dont like it dont listen when he is on.

opposite. I hate it when too many pump us up before we've actually done enough to warrant. I do think he exaggerates his points, but otherwise think he's smarter than many of the talking heads on sports radio.

that Clemson has no chance. He does favor FSU in this game as does most of America. If I solely base this game on the three games previous plyed by both teams, then I say that FSU wins by 21. But we don't know yet if FSU is really that good. Last year they were hyped up nd all, and ended up 6-6. Clemson may be much better than they showed as well. Clemson generally plays to the level of their compition. So Clemson may very well win this game. But needless to say they are going to have to play better than they did against Furman or Auburn.

But we all have our opinions.
Florida state has the same coach and defense as last year, Clemson is better on the o line and the defense still needs work.
But maybe the game will drive the defense to a better level.
They didn't do that bad against Auburn.
