Voting for Biden

At the sake of my pulse. I have to ask. Since I was recently td for posting a pro trump remark.(all I said was Orange man better than Senile man) Those who are voting for Biden...is it because you think he will be a good leader to the most powerful nation on earth? Or is it only because you hate Trump so much and want to see him lose no matter what to anyone?

IMO, the thing that this proud country don't need, is a president addicted to twitter, and spends more time on twitter than he does running our proud country!!!

So you’re answer is the latter? It doesn’t matter who it is as long as it’s not tweeting Trump?
If so my answer to you is the grass is not always greener. And please carefully consider what a vote for Biden actually would mean in terms of policy not just publicity. Yeah I agree the trump is a jack hole and he’s probably not a very nice guy in general. But he’s not an idiot and he’s not a push over or a puppet. And those are traits...strong traits that I think a president should have.

He doesn't do all of the tweets that come from him. Fortunately, it's very easy to tell when it's him and when it's Dan Scavino. If it has more than one @ or any #, It's more than likely Dan. If it's just words, chances are it's Trump doing it.

He has dementia. His handlers in the DNC and MSM are hiding it the best they can, but he will be forced to drop right before the convention. The DNC is trying to get Michelle to be nominated.

I'd say Americans needs to sit down and educate themselves on their freedoms/liberties as such will be in question come November. Also do their homework on what each person running for president (only 2) stands for. Their policies. So far all I've heard is Biden taking jabs saying trump this and trump that. It's like high school out there on TV. I've never heard a single thing come out the man's mouth on what he plans to do with the economy, military, hate groups, terrorists, illegal immigrants, 2nd amendment, 1st amendment. But anyway you're right alot of people have hatred for trump bc of his position of power and the fact he runs as Republican. That's called having a devotion to a group/party over devotion to a nation of unity.

You can find the Biden strategies for most of the issues you raise on his website. The reality is that those aren’t going to be brought up on TV. Maybe he’d talk about them if specifically addressed in a debate. (I don’t think there’s any certainty there will be debates at this point) Both the left-leaning and right-leaning tv news are just going to play the same sound bites, yet with different spin from taking heads, to keep rallying their entrenched bases.

I just don’t understand that logic. I mean your whole life and business, wealth, health, everything could be destroyed and taken away from you by the wrong person or people in charge. (Not saying that would happen) and people’s decisions aren’t even based on that. It’s all about get this clown out of here even if it means sacrificing my life? I mean what has this guy done to these people personally to affect them so deeply. This is a proud country and it deserves better. Choose your president based off of whom you believe will be best for the country. Not because he’s a dem or rep. Not because man or woman. Not because black or white. But because you honestly believe and have done YOUR OWN RESEARCH that who ever you vote for will be the best person to help you and this country prosper.

Thank you for answering. I gave you a TU because you answered that you feel he will be a better leader than Trump. Almost everyone I ask this question to always answers the same way “ not trump because he....” it never has anything to do with their decision on who they think is the better candidate for them and their country.

They wanted to go and were almost very respected people. Sure they were let go because they couldn't work with Trump, but they are all very much more respected among their peers than Trump ever was or is. Trump is only respected among his followers. They fell for his charlatan nonsense. There are some good things Trump has done, like the border, but overall he is just a moron who digs holes to get out of. He is all talk. He talks too much. I am sure a senile Biden will do the same.

#Trump2020
I can’t imagine anyone honestly being able to say that they are worse off (before Covid-not his fault) than they were before Trump was elected. The economy was pumping, stock market at all time high, unemployment at an all time low, prison reform, etc. He has been fought at every turn by the Dems, the media, and some RINOs all along the way. And if you don’t think these “peaceful” riots are not being orchestrated by someone powerful? Well, you’re an idiot. It’s not about BLM anymore either. It s about sowing discord during Trump’s presidency. If Biden wins, watch the riots stop and Covid take a huge downward spiral.

As bad as this sounds but it takes a crook to spot one sometimes. Look what China has been doing to us and our American companies for so many years. It was almost irreversible. Glad he put the brakes on them with trade and other things.

And not ONE lib has said anything positive about Biden.
ONE person said they think Joe would be a better leader, but not substance.... just trying to be fair.
Trump isn’t perfect, but as a conservative, he’s by far the best POTUS since Regan.... and he may be better. Think about all the BS he’s had to juggle while being productive. Even if you’re a lib- you have to admit he’s been impressive in what he’s accomplished in the past 4 years with more garbage thrown at him than the past 4 POTUS’s combined!

So Trump deserves no blame for his scandals?
Aug 9, 2020, 12:48 PM
[ in reply to 3 hrs into this thread ] |

I will agree that the media and the Democrats have not treated him fairly, but lets remember when Trump came on the political scene. It was pushing a ridiculous conspiracy theory about Obama‘s birth certificate. Are you surprised they’re trying to get him back? The birther movement crap was just wrong. If you can’t see that, your head is in the sand.
Was it not Trumps fault when he said what he said what he said on Access Hollywood? Do you really think all those women that accused him of assault were lying?
Do you really think Putin doesn’t have something on him? Why did he say what he said at Helsinki? Then when away from Putin clearly lied through his teeth and said he misspoke. We all know that was BS.
And was it right that Trump tried to withhold congressional approved funds for Ukraine to get dirt on Joe Biden? Yes, again the Democrats deserve some blame but what are they supposed to do, ignore it?
Don’t even get me started on coronavirus. It was unlucky for Trump it happened. I concede that. On the other hand, there’s just no reason for the US to be the laughingstock of the world on how we’ve handled the virus.
My point is to put 100% of the blame of Trump being attacked on the Democrats is wrong. He put himself in the messes he’s been in. To not hold him accountable at some level is ridiculous.
I will agree that Trump is strong, has energy for a guy in his mid 70s, and does have more ideas. Biden on the other hand has not shown that yet. Even though he has a lot of agenda online, he needs to come out and be visible. I think Trump will overtake him eventually if that doesn’t change.
So at the end of the day I hope Trump wins even though I despise him and don’t trust him as far as I can see him. The argument that Trump is not perfect, but he’s better than Biden is fair. I just have no time for Trumpsters who can’t admit his hands are dirty. But he is the taller midget in my opinion.

But don’t agree completely. I am not here to defend Trump as a person. But you’re logic is that he deserves his negative press. Furthermore he was asking for it with his actions and the msm is not a corruptly biased entity. Again, I’m not here to defend Trump as a person, but I will ask... did W ask for or deserve the treatment he got? What about McCain or Romney, or Kavanaugh? The media is corrupt... period.

Yes the media is biased, but I got off on the wrong foot with Trump after the birther movement. Is there anyway to defend that at all? Just a blatant lie, and set the tone for my view of Trump.
Can any of you defend that? If you can’t blame Trump for that, you’re so biased you’re dishonest.

There is no evidence that 'Putin has something,' or anything on Trump. Schiff claimed to have seen evidence of Trump/Russia collusion which was dismissed by Mueller who said 'we found no evidence that any American conspired with Russia. You can file that hoax theory with the 'Putin has something on Trump.'
I agree with you about Trump effing up our response to the virus. He should have shutdown travel from EU when he shutdown China. I said that when it happened. You didn't so don't act like you know what you're talking about now. Hindsight is always 20/20. I think Trump was a poosie for not manning up and telling the EU their problem isn't going to become ours.
I also lambasted Trump for allowing the CDC to dominate testing while using substandard and often defective test kits and not immediately forcing the CDC to stand down. I gave him hail about the CDC ignoring Dr Helen Chu who isolated and identified the virus and warned how contagious it was back before it spread all across NYC.
Those like you criticized me and accused me of blaming the CDC. I didn't. I don't work like that. Imo, if a man has authority he has an equal amount of responsibility and accountability accompanying it. I totally blamed Trump.
Since then he has done a good job on the virus. He offered to coordinate the response on a national basis but the governors went batchit crazy talking about Hitler and dictatorships so he backed down and held the goat's horns while the governors screwed it. He gave the governors everything they asked for. Many said so but it must have been traumatic for Cuomo and Newsome to admit it.

Trump is good for our economy and he is certainly...

socially conservative relative to the left today. That was not always so. At one time his politics was on the liberal side. The window from left to right has moved a great deal but Trump hasn't changed many of his views on right and wrong. He's still a heathen.
One thing he isn't and that's conservative. People from the AOC leftwing might call him that but he spends like a drunken sailor in port.

I'm not voting for Biden as Trump will carry SC easily. I'm voting third party to help them accumulate more votes for the future, and because I don't believe in Biden.
However, Trump must be removed at all costs, and if that means putting this senile man in temporarily, so be it.

I can't vote for Biden, but don't want to vote for Trump.

Trump has been awful in the face of COVID and the racial justice movement. Awful.
OTOH, Biden is clearly not well. If he were well, don't you think he would be tearing up Twitter, going to every function he could, and be raring to go at the Dem National Convention (aka meeting of the Politburo)?
I won't throw away my vote in protest.
I a waiting to see if anyone emerges to replace Biden on the ticket and to see what happens with Trump. He could still eff up big enough that he is kicked out or replaced, IMO. The GOP knows he is now hurting them down ticket.
That said, I am now seriously considering doing the vote by mail thing (rewind to 2000 to see how that cluster f*ck will end) and just voting for Trump. Don't like him personally, but at least his policies will allow my business to stay open and hopefully keep taxes down, while bombing the sh*t out of ISIS when necessary.
