It didn't take a lot of talent or skill development to hit a 170 lb guy that hard.
I'm not saying it wasn't a good hit. I was surprised when the kid got up but it didn't show any serious skills to put him down like that.

Did that hit happen in the Clemson game? Clowney played awful against Michigan, he had one 'big' hit that didn't even phase the guy he hit. The ball came loose because the RB never even had it.

They put the top play of the day against the "best of the best." Whichever wins lives on to compete the next day. Clowney's play is still there because it has won every day since 1/1.
