Brownell. No matter what happens from here on out

Jan 11, 2020, 11:30 PM

He will always be a big part of the cathartic moment in Clemson basketball history where we finally won in Chapel Hill. He’s been here long enough to understand the magnitude of this win, you could tell by his celebration. A first year coach might not have quite had the same reaction.

Congrats coach Brownell, nothing can ever take that moment, which will always be an indelible part of Clemson basketball lore, away from you now.

yes...

his reaction showed me that he has some Clemson in his blood. He gets it.

Indeed. I have never seen him show such emotion. Good for him. I truly hope he enjoys this and has more success this year.

I wonder if this is the type of win that could be deemed a program changer, was this a step in the right direction. Can it be compared to the 2012 win over LSU in football? I say that because we have high hopes on this in coming recruiting class.

I don’t know if Simms will stick around, but if he does, next year could be fun.

Oddly enough, I think this game will change the direction of UNCheat's program, similar to what CLEMSON did to LSU in 2012 sending them into a death spiral. We may not realize the magnitude of this win for years, but it is a step in the right direction for the CLEMSON program.
