Venables during interview before Gary Commit

While I was watching ESPN2 a few minutes before the commit, Jeannine Edwards interviewed Venables and I was sure we were about to get Gary. Couldn't stop smiling and you could tell he was very eager for the announcement. When she asked him about Gary he just smiled and said he couldn't comment until they got everyone signed, sealed and delivered. After watching this and then watching him pick Michigan just moments later I was really surprised. anybody else feel this way?

Apart from landing Gary, if I were Venables I would smiling ear to ear to with the talent that we had already signed. He's got to be loving the fact that there is already going to be a large push on the line but then also having guys like Smith and Lamar coming through the holes too.

I thought the exact same thing. Would have bet the house he was coming to tigertown after watching Venables.
