Nobody cares if wins are vacated several years ago or not. It means nothing. The school already received their revenue for the games. Unless you've won a Heisman or a championship in that period, it is a stupid and weightless punishment.

It means more to some programs than others.

i.e. If UofSuCk had to vacate 33 wins, they'd be back to 2 games under .500 in their history. They were pretty proud to get above .500 a few years back, so that would be a tough pill to swallow.
