another big fugggup. You realize that Clemson MBB has lost 7 games by 3 or less. All one possession games that we totally screwed up. Only beat one ranked team, VT.
That is the definition of terrible.

He only draws up the plays, he doesn't actually make the plays. IT's not his fault he doesn't have talented players, or out of date facilities, or a young inexperienced team, or ways of motivating his team, or that opposing head coaches leave the game and he gets out-coached. I mean it's Clemson basketball, it's not like we should expect to go the the NCAA tournament every year. I mean once every 3 years sounds reasonable. And it's not like he's returning a lot of talent on this years team that has tournament experience.
Do you think Rome was built in a day? He needs more time.

Unless you've got a good bit of historical success, I think you have to have a good personality to recruit at a high level these days. That certainly isn't Brownell's fault, but you'd think he'd recognize it and hire accordingly.
Also, can someone explain to me why basketball needs so many coaches? They've got as many coaches as players, maybe more.

I think they'll give him one more year before they do anything, but he'll have to do a lot. I don't know too many people who still go to the games.

We need to get further away from the edge of being a tournament-caliber team before the administration acts on my idea of leasing Littlejohn for an Indian casino. That's probably 2, maybe 3 years away right now. Brad just needs a little more time to get us there.
