Steve Spurrier Says SEC Fans “Rightfully” Upset With Ohio State’s Easy Schedule Matt Lombardi
South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier has made some enemies over the years, given his tendency to be overly honest with the media about how he feels. Monday, he may have added another team’s fan base to the list.
On today’s edition of The Paul Finebaum Show, Spurrier took a mini-shot at Ohio State, telling listeners that he thinks that SEC fans can “rightfully” be upset about the Buckeyes’ schedule. He also brought up Texas A&M’s schedule from a few years back

His team gave up 34 to Vandy last year. Darth Visor needs to focus on his own team before taking shots at other teams who can actually handle their business.

Clemson is mentioned in the comments of this report on Bleacher Report
"James, it's good that Ohio State beat Alabama, in the past the Buckeyes were only a talking point. Woody Hayes showed what type of program you have when Clemson embarrassed the Buckeye program"

Their schedule is pretty slack, but it's kind of like the coach from Akron pointing it out. It's really nothing Spurrier need be concerned with.

Even Slurrier doesn't seem to understand how pathetic the "weak schedule" argument is. If the Patriots played high school teams for the regular season and spanked some NFL a$$ in the Superbowl, they're still the NFL champion. Maybe OSU plays a weak schedule. They beat Alabama and went on to win the championship convicingly. Seems silly for one of Alabama's weak sisters to talk about the champion's schedule.

is still a mans sport and I don't like a team that plays a bunch of cupcakes throughout the year just to make it to the playoffs. I understand that you can't be in a heavyweight fight every week but you don't become a better football team playing teams that have no chance of beating you. Just my bravado filled opinion.
