Updated ACC tournament seedings/standings (2/29)....

There is a 5 way tie for 5th right now.....which is crazy. Unfortunately, the tiebreakers (all those teams record against each other) leaves us at the bottom of that group for the moment. But if a couple of teams end up outside of the tiebreaker, we'll probably move up. If we win both games, I'm certain our seed will be higher.
The good news is that there are not many scenarios left where we would have to play on day one.
Despite the victory today...I'm not sure I'd want to see FSU on a neutral court. They are very good.
Would love to get the 5 or 6 seed....and go from there.

1. FSU (14-4)
2. Louisville (14-4)
3. UVA (13-5)
4. Duke (13-5)
5. Notre Dame (9-9)
6. N.C. State (9-9)
7. Syracuse (9-9)
8. Ga. Tech (9-9)
9. Clemson (9-9)
10. Boston College (7-11)
11. Va. Tech (6-11)
12. Miami (6-12)
13. Wake (6-12)
14. Pittsburgh (6-13)
15. UND (5-13)

If the tourney started today:

Day 1:

10) BC vs 15) UNC
11) Va. Tech vs 14) Pittsburgh
12) Miami vs 13) Wake Forest

Day 2:

5) Notre Dame vs Miami/Wake
6) N.C. State vs Va. Tech/Pitt
7) Syracuse vs Boston College/UNC
8) Ga. Tech vs 9) Clemson

Day 3:

1 FSU vs GT/Clemson
2 Louisville vs Syracuse/BC/UNC
3 Virginia vs NCSU/VT/Pitt
4 Duke vs Notre Dame/Miami/Wake

And so on....

For the record...here's how the tiebreakers broke out for 5th:

Notre Dame was 4-2
NCSU was 3-3, with a head to head over Cuse
Cuse was 3-3,
GT was 3-4
Clemson was 2-3

Loss at ND, wake, and Ga Tech really hurt. 2 of those 3 and we're a lock for NCAA without a tourney win.

If we win out is it possible to finish 5th or tied?

If we win out, we could be 5th easily...

I think the others will split their last two (check the schedules).
Need to take care of business though.

If we win out, most probable scenario is alone at 5.

Next most probable to end up tied with Cuse at 5.

We would own the tiebreaker due to H-t-H, so again we finish 5.

Somebody else needs to play lights out for us to drop to 7 or below--IF we win out. Ball's in our court, so to speak.
