Coots should build a large 40’x40’ glass case and put bowl participation trophies on a small pedestal in the center.

I'm sure they PROUDLY display their 1969 acc championship trophy. For all we know, maybe they keep the bass fishing, women's basketball, and equestrian trophies there too.

Please tell me there is not a giant SEC kiosk in the dirtpeckers football complex. That is beyond pathetic. Why not just hang Alabama Championship banners off the upper deck at Willy-Brice and have a statue of Tim Tebow in his florida uni at the front gate? "Here at Uof5C we don't have tradition, but we know people who do!" So, so weak.

Don't laugh, they are on track to win a conference championship once every century.

They do have a bronze duck caller for participating in the Duck Dynasty Bowl, but I think Buttchamp is using it as a paperweight on his desk.

When the rest of the ACC had an abysmal year, SoKarliner made the most of 7-4 (6-0 in the ACC.)

The 2nd place conference record that year was the 3-2-1 Wolfpack.

Yessir, in 1969 the Gamecocks were proud 2nd graders standing tall among the ACC Kindergarteners. They must have felt good about it, because they left soon after.

And have never stood so tall since then.

You're right-7-4, not 8-4. I knew they had 4 losses!***

So, was this gif set in 1994?

Because that's when Vince died. Although, in co/94's defense, the SCofU trophy case probably looks the same today as it did back then.

Don't they still have something indicating winning the ACC Championship in their stadium? I wonder what new students and recruits think when they try to guess which conference they are really in. I would take that thing down if they want to chant SECondplace.

do they for real have that bigass sec logo on the wall?

jeez, it looks as big or bigger than that stupid gamecock logo.
