Ever feel uncertain about the chaos around you?

I don't know where this coronavirus thing will go...I tend to think it won't amount to much. But you can sort of feel the anticipation, maybe even the beginning of a worry. What can we do to settle our minds and hearts when those worries begin?

There is no peace like the peace that comes from God. You may be aware that the Hebrew word for "peace" is "SHALOM". It is, of course, a common greeting for people of Jewish faith or heritage.

Isaiah 26:3 says "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

If you look at the Hebrew from which this verse is translated, that phrase "perfect peace" comes from the Hebrew "shalom shalom".

God's perfect peace is not just any peace. It's PEACE peace. Double peace, extra peace, the peace of all peace. It is "SHALOM SHALOM".

Won't you stay your mind on the Lord, and trust in Him? You won't just get peace in this crazy world. You'll get SHALOM SHALOM. Perfect peace.

Yes, but like Sarah I consider who promised and judge Him faithful. That way uncertainty doesn't last long.
