Unless we see Mr. Cherry tomorrow. . .

Oct 11, 2013, 10:47 AM

I think there is very high probability we'll see him on 10/19 for FSU. I don't think Clemson has had him this year. Mr. Cherry loves the primetime, and he'll be sure to have that whistle shined up. . .

The biggest game the ACC has had in at least 10 years, it would be completely incompetent to let a ref that has the potential to decide the game anywhere close to Death Valley.
He has to on average call 50% more penalties then any other ref that works ACC games.

I havent noticed him at any games so far. I hope that means he is gone.

while we are ragging him that crew at syracuse was not great. those multipass plays consisted of lateralerals. 2 on the first play and one on the second. sad when you cant get that right in real time

I hope the ACC will keep sending him to the new schools

I saw him in the Notre Dame game. They can have him

Cherry is in the top 3 of ACC refs. . .

Oct 11, 2013, 11:42 AM

There are 12 crews. Brad Allen is prob #1, but he did the UGA game. Tom Zimorski is the other top one, but he did the Clemson @ FSU game last year. That leaves Mr. Cherry any way you look at it.

ACC crews do all ND away games, and home games when an ACC team visits or ND supplies officials. ACC crews also officiate another league on the East Coast as well.
