I like Danny Kannel but to put Louisville at 2 and Oklahoma at 5 is whack-a-doodle... Joey Galloway's top 5 is about right.

impressive than a win over Louisville. So lets put Louisville ahead of Clemson because they lost to a more impressive team than Clemson beat?

While I agree with you, I'll take an open-minded stab at the thought behind it.
Each team has one loss. Which loss was better? I can see the argument that Louisville's loss to Clemson is a better loss than Clemson's loss to Pitt. They were both lost in about the same fashion, but Clemson is a better team to lose to than Pitt. So, that would be the argument as it pertains to the quality of their losses.
The other side of the argument comes in the win column. They both have the same amount of wins. The quality of opponents that Clemson has beaten is much higher than Louisville's. There's no arguing that. What Louisville does have going for them is that their average win was never even close. Clemson definitely can't say the same thing.
The real issue is the fact that the two teams had a head-to-head matchup. Clemson obviously won that. But, to be rational, They wouldn't win 100 out of 100. So, there's room to say that the loser of the game isn't always the inferior team and vice versa. Any other logic is just Coot logic. Pitt beat us. Does that mean they are the better team? Sure, they were yesterday. But, no, they are NOT the better team. If that were the case, then whoever beat them is also better than we are. That line of logic could go on forever with every team in the nation ending up better than us.

Clemson beating Louisville isn't as impressive as Louisville losing to Clemson.
Stop the world, I want to get off now.

I simply do not get any of this, 3 of the top four lose and it goes wacho. I get moving OSU into the top 4 but not 2nd. Look they lost to PSU, but (coot logic) PSU lost to Pitt. No seriously, the only one I see dropping out is Wash. and moving OSU to 4. Louisville does not deserve to jump anyone and Mich and CU deserve to stay. JMO
