UVA game Tailgate Alert!

Please be aware that UVA cops will ticket you if you're drinking alcohol out of a can or bottle. Make sure you have it in a cup (solo, stadium, to go, etc.)

The only designated drinking area on campus (Grounds) is next to the stadium.

if you are going to be enjoying a barley pop or other adult beverages tomorrow in Charlottesville, be very careful about driving afterwards. Charlottesville police have been known to set-up surprise road blocks and sobriety check points.

erson has to be turning over in his grave. i would be willing to bet anyone a dollar to a doughnut that the police could have arrested 'ol thomas j. and the other founding fathers for riding under the influence - if the authorities had set up the checkpoints after some of their, uh, town hall meetings, if you want to call it that! (i sure am glad i am an older fella, i couldn't keep putting up with the way everything seems to be going, i promise y'all that)

They do not believe themselves better...It is about tradition. It was called the grounds from the beginning by Mr. Jefferson and is a tradition carried through the years just as Bleu Cheese, Howard's Rock and Fort Hill are Clemson traditions.
