41,000 in Chapel Hill (the home side was a bit more full than the side you saw on TV) still a lousy turnout on a really nice weather day

24,000 in Durham to see a ranked opponent

Wallace Wade is a small stadium... only seats ~34,000

the 'official' attendance numbers are probably inflated a bit

spoke with several guys who were in Kenan.. said it was barely over half full.. home side just over half full, the visitor's side less than half
