On the flip side I'm sure it's safe to say that they also got guys who were high on our coaches wish list as well. I don't follow other school's recruiting that closely, so I can't give specific UGA players that Clemson wanted.

Todd Gurly and Keith Marshall were two guys in recent memory that we were recruiting hard and both wound up playing for the pups.

But we’re still elite either way. It just proves that we win with the young men who want to be a Clemson Tiger. If a young man chooses to go to another school, then so be it and i wish him full health and the best of luck. Clemson has proven it’s gonna continue to win and win the big games. Very few schools can say that and UGA isn’t one of those schools. It’s possible that they could become one of those schools, but if recent history is any indicator then i believe that’s highly unlikely.
Many may try to replicate and copy Clemson on the field, but no one can because they don’t have our coaching staff or the Clemson culture. Kudos to the schools that get some of those 5 star recruits, but can you turn that 5 star into a Natty for your school. ??We know that Clemson can??

Hunter Renfrow? Or perhaps Tee Higgins?
Think they would like to have commitments from Trevor Lawrence or Xavier Thomas??

No way man, only good players get Kirbied. If you don't get Kirbied it means you weren't good enough. Remember Saban only won all his titles because Kirby regularly Kirbied him in the middle of the night.

No doubt but Brenton Cox is a nice conciliation prize!!! Both are outstanding prospects and Cox is projected to earn a 5th star as well.
