That's the about the most sense he's ever made. There's no doubt who's non-conference schedule was better between the Tigers and the Dawgs. Their SEC East schedule wasn't really any different than Clemson's ACC schedule either.

Pretty spot on but VT was not a good football team the year they beat OSU by 2 score in Columbus. OSU got a gift from the committee that year bc TCU got hosed at Baylor and the Big 12 was not allowed a Championship Game. So would OU have been treated the same this year? I doubt it, brand matches OSU unlike TCU's in 2014.

He's redeemed himself from the days of calling Clemson a fraud. This situation just makes so much sense it's bizarre mental gymnastics to put Georgia in the final four. Love Kirk, but this one wasn't his best moment. Even if Bama has a blow out win, OU has a right to be there. They earned it. Georgia did not.
