Reigning National Champion


Beat the AP #1 and #2 teams in the nation.
Ended the nations longest winning streak at 26.
Had to win a conference championship game and two playoff games.
Tied for most wins by any team since 1897, with 14 wins.
Beat what many considered to be the best defense in the history of college football.
Beat what many considered to be the best team in the history of college football.

Many thought Alabama was the best in the history of college football until we played them. Our win over them is the only thing to tarnish their reputation. Much the same way many thought Ohio State had the second best defense in college football until we beat them 31-0. My opinion is if either one of these teams would go back to playing games against anyone not named Clemson, they'd be just as dominant as they were before they played Clemson. They just couldn't pull that off against Clemson.

I never thought alabama was the best team, and I kept TRYING to tell people that all season.

Many of them just laughed.

I even told a few alabama fans that they don't want to see us in the title game; they laughed.

Here it is.

It's awesome to see it.
