Twas' the Month Before the Orange Bowl

Twas' the month before the Orange Bowl and all thru the land...
Not a Chicken was crowing, not a single Coot fan.
Orange jerseys were hung in the lockers with care.
In hopes BCS patches would soon be sewn there.

The Tigers were restless and slept not a speck.
With visions of Buckeyes whose dreams they would wreck.
And Dabo in his office with Chad drawing plays.
And Brett in the film room solving Meyer's ways.

When from down in the low country there rose such a clucking.
After crowing SEC dominance the Coots got a f*&&!#g.
Away to the Krystal's I flew with a flash.
Where all good Coot grads make all their cash.

The news on this night from ESPN came the Coots were again stuck in a non-BCS game.
When what to my wondering ears I did hear thousands of Coot fans sobbing in tears.

With their Little Ol' Ball Coach so drunk and so crass they got served up to face Badgers who will kick their @ss.
Louder than banshees their wails I did hear their curse words and bitterness as they cried in their beer.

Meanwhile in the Upstate Tigers learned of their fate and hugging and high-fiving went on until late.
The Tigers were happy and deservedly so, and they looked forward to playing another highly ranked foe.

They listened as Holtz, Davis and May pointed out weaknesses and doubted their play.
The points sometimes hurt and the words left a mark.
And in the eyes of the Tigers there came a smouldering spark.

These Tigers are winners, they're family and friends.
With one more war to fight and one last game to win.
They all pulled together and they strapped on the gear.
And got ready for practice the rest of the year.

At the end of the stadium at the top of the Hill.
There seemed to be a shadow who watched smiling and still.
As he watched happy Tigers and heard miserable ####$, he whispered through the cold, winter night...

If you ain't gonna give 110%, keep your hands of my Rock!
