Turning a bad situation into a good one

I've been looking forward to taking the family to the FSU game for months and months, but a turn of events will prevent us from doing so. We'll get through the issue, but it's obviously disappointing that we can't go. Anyway, I've know for a couple of weeks we probably wouldn't be using the tickets and I've been wondering what to do with them. I have to admit I thought about selling them but that seemed like a "cheap" thing to do, regardless of their monetary value. Well, the solution to my quandary presented itself earlier this week. A friend told me about one of his employees whose son was a diehard Clemson fan. Young boy, seven years old. Not going into details, but this young man has had a rough go of it, is doing OK now, but probably won't ever play sports, much less play football. At any rate, he and his family, who've never been to Death Valley, will be front and center next week for the FSU game. I hope they enjoy it as much as we would have.

Didn't even know what it was when I first signed up recently. From what I gather, some folks who have small wee-wees repeatedly lower newcomers' pulses. Whatever, that's their problem.

a huge load of crap.
If it was true, you wouldn't be wasting time writing the story on the internet.
You don't have FSU tickets, you don't have CU season tickets, wouldn't feel "cheap" reselling something you purchased, and don't have a friend with an employee with a 7 yr old child that won't ever play sports.
