I think it was Deandre McDaniel “intercepting” an option lateral and running for a TD. Don’t remember the game.

Did I dream this up? Can’t find it.

I only remember him intercepting the Ponder pass, and Ponder tackling him and getting injured doing that. I think Ponder was lost for the season after that play.

I don't remember the play you mention.

I do remember Gaines Adams taking the ball from the FG kicker (or holder) and racing for a TD for the comeback win over Wake years ago.

That video isnt playing the full game but when Clemson starts coming back is around the 1:30 mark. And what a come back it was. I remember sitting in the car with my grandpa listening to it on the radio and knew for sure we were going to "clemsoning" but then Gaines Adams made that huge play which obviously gave us the momentum. Fun to rewatch games like this.
