Trump saved over two million American lives

From the “invisible enemy.” Those were the initial projections. Thanks to Trumps leadership and policies, that number is down to 60,000. Wow !

currently sitting at 40k and climbing.
Had we acted more swiftly and had the proper resources for testing and contact tracing, we would be sitting at less than 10k deaths and would be back to life as normal outside of a handful of major cities.

being that they were the masterminds of this deadly plot to destroy the world's economy, as some of you have suggested, you would think they would have been a little more prepared.

Well, Sir, how far back would you like to go?

Years? Decades? Defined by party affiliation, should self-serving be the intention?
If Obama were in office, I wouldn't blame him for where we are today. A President isn't Merlin the Magician nor a deity. Blame cast at the feet of one person in this day and age to be held accountable for decades of gov't mismanagement on a myriad of vital topics is patently unfair. Equally unfair is to allow the 535 members of Congress to do just that...point fingers and pretend that's doing something constructive. Our government composition at present is sad and pathetic...and that rests at all of our feet.

salty, I said we, as in everyone and mentioned the lack of resources, and certainly the erosion of the institutions that are charged with preventing this from happening are partly to blame. We have been trying to properly fund preparedness and build an infrastructure for an event like this since 2004, and have failed miserably.

And now we're opening back up, so go ahead and throw any kind of projections out the window.
It's gonna do what it's gonna do, at this point. I don't think anybody has a clue, our response has been so schizophrenic and piecemeal.

and we opened the beaches in Jacksonville yesterday. Seems like a good plan, create an incentive for a big crowd of people in one location and let I95 and the virus take care of the rest.

And that's a fact.
I bet he's got another 3,000-4,000 in him by the end of the year.
And I bet you believe every one of them.

Could easily go into the millions doing nothing. Of course that just buys time. Without a vaccine the infections will still come eventually.

New York was in BAD shape thanks to the “ do nothing Democrat’s”. But TRUMP really stepped up and flattened the curve. Army corps of engineers and uss comfort should be thanked IMMENSELY. No coincidence most hot spots have Democrat leadership

had we quarantined and tested the American returning from travel in Europe, NYC never would have blown up like that. but I guess that would have been a violation of their constitutional rights?

People love to call Trump an authoritarian until they want to complain that he is not authoritarian enough.Based on the TDS on here, have to assume some would have rather Hillary is handling this.Scary.

Making it that ourselves. Urban areas have been hotspots for every pandemic throughout history. Urban areas have always trended democratic in the US. They trend to other parties in other countries.

Not so fast in New York situation. Gov was HOARDING precious ventilators. Was whining and DEMANDING more. Really shaky leadership in a time of crisis. But of course, TRUMP stepped in and got it sorted out

schools, every live sporting event and major gathering across the country had been nixed, and entire cities had gone into lockdown.
Pulling for him to lead on delivering more testing material nationwide so we can get this mechanism cranked back up.
