I know some are upset at Brad, but u can't ignore the character of these players

A player is a reflection of their coach mentally most of the time. We have seen it with Ferrell, Wilkens, and so many more in football, but these basketball seniors have shown incredible poise and have so much respect for the game. Im frustrated and so upset about this year, but I'm also seeing these 21-22yr olds show character. They had more bad luck in one season than I've ever seen a team endure. How many teams can play hard after losing 6-7 games at the buzzer or on last second shots when winning most games. Honestly if a few of those shots go our way, Clemson is in the tourney and nobody is upset. Nobody thinks back, but a few things went against us just in the first few weeks leading up to bball season. Malik William get season ending injury (6'9" big man who was on the team last year and could shoot the 3 too). Then we lost AJ Oliver unexpectedly to transfer. He was going to be our 3pt specialist with Reed. That's alot of help lost and alot of adjusted game plans. Your bench becomes limited. Last year Clemson had an incredible deep bench and we were able to play harder with more subs. This year our seniors played almost the whole game and gave their all sweating and tired. I want to thank them for being a great representation of Clemson university and showing that Clemson Grit when things weren't going well.

So if we can see it with the football players, why not the basketball team?
And please don't tell me we are a football school when 10+ years ago people wanted Tommy Bowden gone. Well, it's been 10 years for Brad.
Character is one thing, but our football team has playmakers. Our basketball team has basketball players. Did you see that kid for Murray State, or Aubrey Dawkins yesterday?
The football team has found ways to win those last minute games the basketball team lost. Would we have been in the CFP'S with loses to A&M, or Syracuse? NO.
Oh, and didn't we lose our starting QB to transfer?
So don't use the excuse if this shot had gone our way. Tell me if you can how many of those last minute losses also involved games where we went 5 minutes or better without scoring a single point. Sure we had issues this season with our bench not having depth, but every team out there plays with the same number of players, and if schools not named Duke, UNC, or Virginia can make the dance, so should we.
FSUi s in their seventh straight Tournament appearance if my research is correct. Va Tech is in their 4th, and neither of them are basketball schools.
Look, I like Brad, and I love our players, but something just isn't clicking. We should be better than two appearances in 10 years in the NCAA's.
So if a player is a reflection of the coaches mentality, then maybe Brad needs to learn to hit a free throw with under 30 seconds to go to close out one of those buzzer beaters.
