oh and besides it would be more fun to turn him from dirty dave than to just get him after he's left. ;)

I don’t think we ever pursued him. He was thought to be a UNC lock early, but committed to Wake. Then he decommited from the Deacs for The Pack. Now with the departure of NCSU offensive line coach for Louisville, he’s back on the market. Don’t know why we didn’t initially offer, but maybe he looks more attractive at this juncture ...

Sounds like he should've actually waited until signing day to make his decision with all that uncertainty.

probably following his O-Line coach to Louisville

NCSU will see a drop in the next few years with their oline. The coach that left was actually a really good coach. He's got a few guys he developed and are playing on Sunday's

Sounds like sort of a loose cannon. Commits to Wake - decommits. Commits to NCST - decommits, even if it's to follow his coach. But to Louisville?? Why go into that dismal place? Bet we didn't pursue him because his "mind ain't right." Wouldn't be the 1st time Dabo & guys have left someone alone who likely wouldn't buy into the concept. This guy seems like even if we signed him, he might take off the instant something doesn't suit him.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.
