Hope Smith changes his mind, but either way, we will be just fine

Tre Lamar and Skalski are middle linebackers and Rashuan Smith is an outside lb. That leaves us short at the outside position which Smith plays.

If he takes visits after commiting to us and does come back, what kind of message does that send to other recruits? I say, as badly as I want Smith at Clemson, cut him loose if he takes just one visit anywhere.

Smith hasn't changed his mind. He just wants to take visits

And Dabo doesn't consider that a commitment.

No doubt, but..........

it's always disappointing to lose the commitment of a 5* athlete or any player with this kind of potential. Imagine not having been able to watch Stephone Anthony play? However, just imagine how the coaches feel that have so much time and energy dedicated to the recruitment of these young men! I think that the staff's confidence in this kid is spot on and eventually he will be a Tiger. If not, the beat goes on, but I'd hate to lose out on watching him grow as a player and perform.

The chances of a decommitment enrolling are slim to none.

History says they are not coming back. Time to find another one.
