His message hit home with our local high school players and their parents, as well.

He talked some about his personal background and how sports and external things are just a vehicle. It can't be the main thing in you life, because the main thing has to come from within for you to be successful.

Really glad that he's a part of the Clemson family!

What you say is very true. And the good thing is ... there’s a lot of Travis Blanks out there because of Clemson.

I’ve known Travis since he was injured his sophomore year. Travis came to Clemson a wonderful young man and has blossomed into the leader he is today. So proud of him. I love seeing our players grow into Clemson men. Clemson really is special.
