His talent could open up more opportunities and extend the playbook if need be. Another refridgerator Perry in the red zone for thoughts. Take care of all the problems we had in the past few years of needing a half yard or inches for a first down and came up empty.

"Williams is a tight end with a good skillset who can block well and also catch the football on the perimeter. I think he does bothwell," Scott said.

Translation: Jordon Leggett doesn't do both well. Leggett is a pretty good receiver but Leggett is a liability when the TE is expected to block (e.g., run blocking in the RED zone and the defender he is suppose to block stuffs the RB behind the line of scrimmage).

I hope that we start a freshman if Leggett refuses to block.

Only knock on him is he's probably our smallest TE

and a redshirt year would be great for putting on weight, but if he can outplay the big guys at his current size there's no reason not to play him.
