Tone deaf ESPN has put forward zero signing day coverage

Unless I count the SEC network which appears to be the only coherent coverage. Tone deaf AND nose deaf when it comes to the sport interests of their viewers, yet laser focused and locked in when it comes to social issues and pop culture.
Another point and case for what’s wrong with ESPN and why so many subscribers are fleeing.

2:30 is when their coverage starts. I don't think they were prepared for this.

There has been Luginbill on Sportscenter on and off during the day, but I honestly feel like ESPN thought it wouldn't be this big a deal, but man, it has.

we are doing. the schedule was pre-determined and probably based on the resources they (don't) have. Plus, they didn't know what to expect considering this is the first time there's been an early signing day.

Just another example of their lack of foresight. If T-Net can put together a schedule of who is committing and when I think ESPN can figure out how many commits will get signed today. It's the perfect opportunity to coin a phrase or brand the two different classes inside 2018 (early/late) to something catchy that ques back to ESPN. ESPN 300 > ESPN Front Runners and ESPN Battle Ground Recruits.
