This little old lady had a small dog, and it was always getting bits of food stuck in the whiskers around its mouth. She was afraid to use scissors, because the dog was jumpy, as small dogs are wont to be.

She decided to go to the pharmacist to see if he had any hair removal products that would be gentle enough for the dog's mouth. She approached the counter, and the pharmacist said, "May I help you, ma'am?"

She replied, "Yes, I am looking for some depilatory products for the removal of some hair. Do you have anything like that?"

He said, "Yes, I do. In fact, I have some stuff here that can be mixed to different strengths, depending on the area of hair removal. For instance, you can mix a quart into a gallon of water for removal of hair on your legs, a pint mixed in for removal of hair from your face or eyebrows. What were you thinking of?"

She said, "I'd like to remove hair from my schnauzer's mouth."

He replied, "In that case, madam, I'd recommend a teaspoon in a gallon of water, and don't ride a bicycle for a week."
