Why would Clowney come to Clemson this weekend

if he wanted to keep his decision (which he reportedly has already made) a surprise? Coming to Clemson or South Carolina this weekend would tip his hand and pretty much end all of the suspense. I'm not sure what his ultimate decision will be, but I think we were heavily considered, and there's been nothing new over the past few days that has made me believe either school has more of an edge than ever before.

Unfortunately, you're not right. If he was coming here, you wouldn't be able to keep him away. It would make a Clemson announcement that much crazier on Monday...the kids a coot.

Uh, ok. It makes perfect sense. You CAN'T possibly be saying that you don't understand what I mean.
I'd like to be wrong, but I'm not.
Do you honestly believe that if he was coming to Clemson to play, he'd be worried about tipping his hand at this point, with his announcement being on Monday. Assuming that the rumor that he was coming to the game was ever true at all.

Going to one bb game or the other has nothing to do with his decision-this kid is not that stupid. He likes both schools, loves bball and likes the atmosphere around it. We will be better with him and will be more than ok without him-just hate to see him at our rival because he will make them better. We will know soon.

guys do we really care where clowney goes.. I know I don't at this point.. all of this waiting and waiting..he has been a coot from way back.. let them have him..we have a great class...let's move forward
