The Tigers shouldn’t be number one Tuesday when the standings are announced. After all, all we did was beat South Carolina! Not a major achievement in my book! Maybe someday a game with them will mean something except state championship. I think there is a law on the books in SC that says we have to play them. Right?

To our advantage, they beat enough bad teams to enter the game with a 24th ranking, so it will so as a quality win over a top-25 team. As Clemson fans, we know better and I agree with your post, but we don't have to tell the rest of the world.

I think we deserve it. Although Oklahoma and Wisconsin will be in the mix. If Wisconsin wins next week they still had a horrible sos but difficult to go 13-0 no matter who you play.
