Quite often I read a post or posts and type a response or comment. Before I tick the "Post Message" I will re-read what I have typed, ponder for a moment and then tick "Cancel". That's usually some of the best decisions I make all day. Maybe I should do it more often.

More of us should re-read things a time or two before we post or send. That alone would prevent some of the misunderstandings and ill feelings in society today!

This is excellent advice Joe.
I still remember one of the greatest pieces of knowledge my first manager ever dropped on me. He said "Many times I write the email response I want to right because it makes me feel better. Then I delete it and send the email response I need to write." It has served me well more times than I can count!

Hey Joe , I got so mad when Danny was run off , I wrote a stinging letter to Max Lennon and Bobby Robinson .
I never sent it , but I sure felt better after I got it off my chest .
