Regarding your comment about Clemson recruiting players committed to other schools but wont let their committed players visit other schools; Clemson coaches specifically tell recruits that if they commit they cant take any other visits. They also tell them that they are free to take visits as long as they arent committed until they do it. If the coaches are going ALL IN on a player then that player needs to be ALL IN with Clemson!!! Enough said.

to me, it is like putting an engagement ring on a girl, but still shopping around with her friends.

I am glad our staff actually sticks to its guns. It is a shame, I thought this kid could be be special here. He has a huge set of wheels and a a rare extra gear for a kid his size.

Technically, would we be "all in" on a player if we continued to entertain recruits even after we'd reached our limit, even though they are only verbal? Is it not conceivable that one of the players that had verbally committed could be bumped from a scholarship offer if a more deisrable player wishes to commit after him? Seems like we want to have our cake and eat it too.

and he was crucified for it. People said that it wasn't fair to kids. Amazing how the feelings are different when its your team.
