I certainly think DW is light years better than Chad Kelly, but Kelly was a lot better choice for QB of the Tigers than Cole Stoudt. I'm just glad Cole had his best game in his finale'. He went out on a high note, but Chad fit our offense much better, IMO. Still, I'm delighted we have DW! He is the real deal with no bad baggage.

He may have been a good fit for the offense.

I agree, Kelly was better than Cole Stoudt and as you know that isn't saying much. He played a decent game against Bama and caught a few lucky breaks.

Cole was a team player and a very unselfish young man.He had a bad
game against GT but he did well against Louisville and held the
reins until Watson returned.Chad Kelley couldn't have done any
better especially in the bowl.

I appreciate your opinion. I do disagree, because I think his skill set fit the type offense we ran, and he had the ability to make plays on his own when the OL blocking failed. I'm glad he is not still at CU, because I think DW is light years better when it comes to skills, and eons of light years ahead in character. Still, Kelly would have been a much better fit in our offense than CS, IMO. The Spring Game was not set up to make Kelly shine, since only a touch kills the play, but he had the ability to shine with our offense and with our OL. Much better than CS. All my opinion, and that doesn't make it right. I am glad what we have now. I'll leave it at that. I hope we get to square off against him in the NC game. I believe we will like the outcome.
