Our Administration has hitched our wagon to the UNC star by failing to get us out of the ACC. The ACC sickens me due to the double standard they have applied toward Clemson (1980's) vs. UNC (now), the fact that it is being run by the UNC Athletic Director, and the fact that we have become a Yankee conference. Really don't care about any part of the ACC north of Virginia. Couldn't care less. We are a Southern football power with a proud tradition, and we are stuck with a bunch of urban northern schools now. What a mess. Love my school, HATE my conference.

by having 3 northeastern teams out of 14 conference members, means the ACC is now a northern conference. A little delusional there. The problem with the ACC is it's ran by Tarheels. Get rid of the Tarheels controlling the ACC and I have no problem with the conference. Clemson needs to step up and push for the ouster of John Swofford.

with Louisville being the width of the Ohio River from Indiana. Looking at football, if we play 3 of that group every year, almost 40% of our conference schedule is made up of northern teams. Just not interested in them as conference foes. I agree that Swofford should go - he never should have been there in the first place.

even Louisville's closeness to Ohio wouldn't make them a northeastern team team. You have a misunderstanding of the regions that make up the US. Indiana and Ohio are midwest states, not Northeastern states. ND isn't a football member anyway. And ND is in South Bend, which is far from an urban area. I would much rather play ND and Louisville, than a number of original ACC members who put zero emphasis on fielding a good football team. Pitt is a blue collar city, vastly different from more upscale urban cities. Syracuse is not large urban area. The only new ACC member that fits the description of upscale urban city is Boston College.

deep, institutional scam they've been running for decades in order to cheat the system, but they've forever tarnished the validity of African-American studies program degrees nationwide, for any program.

Is there really any need to mention the academic rankings of BC, Clemson, Duke, GaTech, Miami, unc, Notre Dame, Pitt, UVa, VaTech or Wake and compare them to the SEC--and especially to that academic joke in Columbia??? That you would even dare bring the topic up indicates an inability to grasp the differences.

any academic crediblity that the acc had ? dont make me laugh...i will be the first to admit that louisville doesnt measure up academically to the rest of acc, but not an easy thing for louisville to do , and one bad apple dont spoil the whole bunch...just like the rest of the sec doesnt per se tarnish florida and vandy academically, or at least it shouldnt ...but still a shame those two schools are sometimes overlooked from a pr standpoint academically because of their affiliation with the sec

West of CLEMSON
that I give a rat's #### about. I hope they ALL lose.
But whatever happens - if any team leaves the ACC - make them take swofford with them.
