Why can’t we just set the time once then leave that Sh@t alone?

I used to not understand the hour back in the fall time until I became a parent and started taking my child to school in the morning. The past 1-2 weeks has been completely dark outside on the way to school. That's not so bad for my child who gets to ride in the car, but I pass by several young kids standing by the road waiting for the bus in the dark.

One more reason not to mess with the time. If we didn’t spring ahead (daylight savings time), you wouldn’t be in the dark with your kid in the morning

Wouldn't it be dark at that time in the morning in the spring though?

Couldn’t they just start school an hour later if that’s the reason for it.
They really have to screw with everyone else’s life?

So everyone with a child would just be an hour late for work?

How are you going to be late for work if everyone’s on the same?..... never mind!

The person above suggested starting school an hour later, but didn't mention moving the time for work to begin. So school begins for my child at 7:40 am currently. If it started at 8:40 am instead then I'd not be able to make it to work any earlier than 9. I'm not sure what the percentage of the working population that has children is, but I'd imagine it's a decent amount.

Yea.. unless, they could somehow invent this portal that would magically drive the kids from home to school and back. They could paint them yellow and make them super safe, it could be a game changer.

Also, I'm not sure if that's the only reason or not. I'm just saying that I used to think going back an hour in the fall was pointless/stupid until my child started school. There could be another reason for it that I'm not aware of.

I'm not doing it anymore . So Tuesday I'll know our position in the CFB poll an hour before anyone else ... including the committee .
I can't be bothered with time constraints . Clocks is a human construct . I heard that from a smart guy .
