Wow what an awesome performance by the players, coaches, and fans-you can tell that ESPN was very impressed!

Herbstreit was definitely impressed. I still think Corso doesn't believe in Clemson. I remember when he first started announcing, I really didn't like him because he was always bad-mouthing Clemson. In the ESPN final wrap-up, Herbstreit gave Clemson as the most impressive performance for the day. Corso chose UCLA in their loss to ND as the "most impressive."

Corso must think we're Purdue...he HATES Purdue!***

I was also thinking the Tigers brought out all purple against NC State under Hatfield. But it is possible that they had white pants, not sure....

was purple jerseys, white pant vs. NC State under Hatfield

We wore purple Jerseys with Hatfield once, with white pants.

I seem to remember we promptly lost the game and that didn't happen again.

'Nuff said!

Hatfield wore them twice. We beat ranked NC State, then lost

...to Cal in the Bowl game that year. We did not wear purple jerseys again until Bowden.

Under TB, we are undefeated in the purple jerseys, either 6-0 or 7-0.

This was an awesome game. However, I do not like the purple uniforms. The Clemson Tigers are orange.

Well, the first time TB brought out the purple jerseys were at GT 3 years ago with white pants and we whipped them. Since then, we had worn them with orange pants at home.

We've won every game in the purple jerseys under Bowden. That's good enough for me.
