Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Be on the look out for those Yankees at Appomattox

Best ACC road trip in my opinion

not b/c UVA is good football game or there fans no anything about football. Charlottesville and the area around it are so beautiful though. Not sure why your going to Lynchburg unless it's to visit friends not much there (I was born there). Shenandoah NP is only 45 minutes away. Charlottesville has a lot to do besides Monticello, I would skip the undergrad restaurant/bar area and head the pedestrian street starting at the Omni hotel w/ tons of really nice restaurants with European style outdoor seating in the center of the Blvd and usually some good live music going on in the area. There are about 30 wineries and many nice microbreweries within a 30 min drive if your interested in that. Also UVA's campus designed by Thomas Jefferson is one of the prettiest in the nation. I always boasted Clemson was but UVA certainly gives it a run for there money. That being said game day there is mediocre and their fans are not very fun to talk to about football.

Too bad you don't, Mr. Fairweather.
