He is the OG Tight End. We have had a TE tradition at Clemson going way back, even through our mediocre years, we always produced tight ends. The NFL loved them because they COULD BLOCK.
RIP Bennie, you were the MAN

Bennie's brother Grant is a professor at Clemson in the plan

planning department and has been for a good while now. I took a small elective planning course/creative writing really.. course with him in a small class of about 4 other students. It was cool to be able to quiz Professor Cunningham on both Bennie's and also his football career at Duke.

This was also during the mediocre years in the Tommy Bowden days and I used always kid him to try to push him to go down to Jervey and get Tommy to hire him to coach the offensive line back then. Because our lines were always pretty inconsistent. I used to call him Coach Cunningham. He was always good dude.

I hate to hear that his brother Bennie has passed away. i wish he and his family all the best.
