Really hope the Packers get Anthony

Would fill a big need, and they're low enough that I don't know if a DT (bigger need) worthy of the 30th overall pick will be there.

that long ago that he struggled so much in the gt game, was benched then watched shuey make a game changing play on the safety.

I recall his favorite NFL team growing up was Green Bay (according to HS interviews). At the time, he mentioned he liked/picked Clemson b/c Steele had a similar defensive scheme (with hopes that would translate in the draft--to GB).

I love seeing stories of players raising their NFL stock by

returning for their senior year!
I realize that the temptation is great for a player to leave early when NFL dollars are waiting, but selfishly I want what is best for the Clemson Tigers football team and as it turns out frequently, what is best for the Tigers is also what is best for the prospective player's ...
All this said, there are certainly times when a player is totally ready and returning would not make sense (Sammy/Nuk) but so many others forgo a bunch of money and security jumping for the early bucks.

Those cases usually don't work out though.

There is always a lottery winner too, but it's not a good retirement strategy.

So funny that these NFL experts just now seem to be noticing just how good these guys are. Same level of confusion about how they have not noticed that Grady Jarrett may just be the best of all of them. He will be a big get for whoever picks him, and Beasley and Anthony will be top gets on anybody's roster. All three will be very productive pros, IMO. I would say the same thing about Steward, too. Early injuries hurt his career, but those seem to be behind him. He will be a great player, too.

The big issue for Grady is his size which gets talked about often. The only reason I see it as an issue is for the many teams running 3-4. He's simply not big enough to eat up two lineman. In a 4-3 system he's going to be an absolute star for someone. His ability to get leverage and drive lineman back is great and he has an awesome motor. Dude never took plays off unless absolutely necessary.

Also, I see Detroit as a possible landing spot for Grady. Both Suh and Fiarley are FA's and I don't think Detroit can sign both of them. They can sign one and put Grady beside them.
