Clemson vs VT Gameday?

My mother, who is sales manager (or some title like that) at a hotel in Anderson told me last night that College Gameday Live had contacted her about getting 50 hotel rooms for the week of Clemson vs VT.
Take it for what its worth, If this is the Gameday crew, I thought they didnt choose where they were going until the week before, but maybe they book a few rooms way ahead for the games that they think might be serious contenders for Gameday so that its not to late to get rooms the week before.

This game definitely has the potential for that. Both teams could be highly ranked going in to the game. Maybe a ...gasp...night game??? As always...GO TIGERS!!!

with the backdrop of the Daniel Rodriquez story, not to mention the games the two teams played last year, that would have to be one of the most compelling matchups that weekend.

I believe A&M is hosting week 2 against Florida so they probably won't get two in one season. But if we keep winning and VT looks good (given their strength of schedule to that point, they should be undefeated), I really like our chances to get gameday that week. Look out for Alabama at Tennessee though. I think UT might turn some heads this year.

VTech plays UNC in Chapel Hill. If they win, they could well be no worse than 6-1 going into that game.
We've got GTech in the Valley. If we win that game, we could well be no worse than 5-1.
Both would be top 15 teams, possibly top 12. Looks like a reasonable case for Gameday.

I hope you are right, but I can't help but wonder why they would identify themselves as gameday to reserve a block of rooms, because of leakage.
