This maybe the best defensive line we have ever had here...

Oct 13, 2014, 1:48 PM

and could be 5-1 with a chance to go to playoff's had we had better 1.3 million $ coaching! Correction
Dabo at 3 and Morris at 1.3 would be 4.3! Inside the 6 inch line 3 times this year for 3 points. That may be a freaking record!

We have a lot of injuries on the OL. You can blame Morris on some play calling. I don't think Dabo cost us the FSU game.

hey... its not our fault if you've gotten 6" to paydirt

Oct 13, 2014, 1:51 PM

3 times this year with nothing to show for it...

sounds like some disappointed wimminz

Yawn. What a bore you are.

I was there in 81 and I totally disagree. Beasley, Crawford, and Grady. What made the 81 D so good was linebacker and secondary play. Don't get me wrong D line was good in 81 but from east to west this
line is better. IMHO.

I stand corrected.

Oct 13, 2014, 2:24 PM [ in reply to It's not even close to the 81 Dline guy...Not even close...*** ]

Bandit Andy Headen BJ Goodson

DT Jeff Bryant Vic Beasley

NT William Perry Grady Jarrett

DT Dan Benish Deshaun Williams

DE Bill Smith Cory Crawford

You are correct not same positions but front 5 for both lines, and you are correct not even close.
I forgot you had to include Andy Headen. He and Perry had the best pro career but Benish and
Bryant played in the NFL. No sure we will have 4 out of 5 off of this line go NFL but I do believe
Jarrett, Beasley, and Crawford have good NFL futures.

I think at least 4 of our DTs and at least 3 of our DEs will go on to the NFL. If you're counting the whole 2-deep, this line is probably better than the '81 line.

Don't forget that Wiliam Devane was just as productive as...

Perry and they rotated equally (Bruise Brothers). The late 80's and early 90's defenses were the ones dominated by exceptional LB play.

Bryant played 12 years all with Seattle

And was a starter there for 11 of them. He was, IMO, along with MD Perry, the best all around DL we have ever seen as a Tiger. #99 lined up at all 4 positions on DL and was a beast. Arguably, along with MD Perry, the best pro DL we have put into the NFL and probably the least talked about former Tiger great. He started all 4 years for us.

What about William Devane?***
