If Test A and Test B are from the same sample, what the h$&& is the point in a Test B???

To make sure nothing fishy happened with sample A. For example, the results could be the result of measurement error. Or it could have been a false positive. Or it could’ve been tampered with and B is sealed and usually can be witnessed during testing to ensure no tampering. Etc etc.

Test B is actually suppose to come from another sample I think!!!

The test could have been wrong (false positive) or the test could have been contaminated. Testing the same simple under tighter guidelines can reveal different results. I and coworkers had to get randomly drug tested throughout our careers and there were times when someone tested positive on the first test and came up clean on the second test from the same sample.
