They don't account for, nor could they, trades. That throws everything off. A way to look at them, at least for me, is team need. So like with the Bills taking Sammy, everything else changes, and a team that wanted Sammy, like the Raiders, goes to a different to their next best option (Mack in this case).

So yeah, right off the bat when teams trade and what not, it has a trickle down effect and teams changes things up, maybe now that your guy is off the table, you trade down for more picks, further throwing things off all the mock draft models.

They do account for trades.... They even attempt to guess trades. Those trade guesses are shown in the chart as well.
