Starting to hear a lot of talk from Vol fans on Twitter and other outlets so I figured I'd remind everyone of this....
They won 3 league games last year against cellar dwellers UK, Vandy, and scar. They amassed a grand total of 2 conference wins in 2013 over UK and scar. They finished 5-7 and missed going to a bowl. In 2012, the Vols managed to win one total conference game in defeating UK. Tenn lost to Vandy. I repeat, they lost to Vandy but we're supposed to think UT is a good team? In 2011, they need overtime to manage their lone league game- a 27-21 triumph over Vandy. They lost to UK that year.
So they won the TaxSlayer.com bowl and all the sudden think they're world beaters? They've scoffed at our win over OU in our bowl game. How soon they forget that OU pummeled them last season 34-10.
The not-so mighty Vols narrowly edged Vandy last year 24-17. Can you hear em now?, "Dude, Vandy is a legit team!"
So the Vols like to bring up history all of the sudden? Guess they forgot this....

They have struggled lately with bad coaching (something Clemson fans should know about-tommy west) but they are one of the top 10 programs of all time. They should be excited with recent events and back to back top 5 classes. Feaster will end up here at Clemson though.

Yeah, butch done got their mouths running again...I live right outside Knoxville and it sure was a lot more peaceful around here when dooley was there. Big talk from a 6 win team

Lord help you for living near Knoxville.Vols are like U of Michigan...haven't broken an egg in 10+ years and now they're running their pie holes.Both schools keep talking about their "history".Can't live on your laurels boys. They should at least wait until they beat anyone that's ranked and have a winning season before mumbling anything.

BC each year when they beat sc jr, sc jr is normally still ranked.

I think i have it worse. I live just outside of Montgomery, AL and wear my Clemson attire everywhere. I get all types of crazy looks but take solace when i was downtown and ran into 2 different people that day that had Clemson attire on. It felt like I hit the lotto that day! It's to the point now that I detest Auburn fans....Bama fans haven't really been too bad to deal with. One even said "I hope y'all beat Auburn so bad they change their mascot to a Pigeon."
