Maybe its a Win/Win/Win and not a sell out

Clemson raises the nets (often), they cut Clemson a deal on the large fleet of vehicles they insure, and Clemson puts that money back in to the football program.

They could have "cut" the same deal by simply

allowing Allstate to have free advertising in the stadium, game program, etc. Now Allstate get millions of "views" for virtually nothing. Great deal for allstate. I think the real reason is someone at Clemson got some great discounts on their personal auto insurance as well as some other incentives.

News from USuC...
"Richardson was the 20th Gamecock arrested since Spurrier was hired in Nov. 2004"

Fluxus®
"As I watched the game yesterday I couldn't help but feel crushed. We beat Furman by 4 TDs, but to me it looked like we got whipped."

"George Bush, we are reliably informed by the media, has the IQ of a moron, though how he matriculated from Yale and Harvard or flew an F-106 will remain an unexplained mystery. Doubtless his father bribed the airplane to fly itself."

How do you know the terms of the agreement? ******

We would have made $11,700 in 2012

Allstate will get more than that in advertising on the first PAT alone.

Great idea Dan!!!....NOT. Just putting the net in the east end zone is a slap in the face to the students.

This is a bummer. Everyone should def express their concern with the AD dept. Maybe come up with a way to raise that money each year by some other means and lose the net. I want to see someone catch the extra point again and throw the football into the opposing team band's tuba.

So, where/how do they move the net for the team entrance?

They can't just lower it to the ground in front of the hill...

Like program. Not nets.***

I'm all for new revenue streams that don't expose us as a cheap hooker. This one doesn't qualify.

Sad.***

What's next?

Howard's Rock, brought to you by Prudential.
Snapple Welcomes You To Death Valley.

This is what makes Clemson so great. The corporate feel.

F minus.
